If I see an item I like can I buy it directly and save money by not paying the Buyer Protection Fee?

For this reason, we protect you with Buyer Protection when you pay through our website ensuring the opportunity for scammers is zero.
Can I post anything on The Pentashop?
The Pentashop has been developed to help athletes and parents involved in any of the sports associated with Modern Pentathlon, The Pony Club & Shooting enthusiasts to buy and sell new and used equipment for their sports. All new posts are moderated by us for being appropriate and relevant before they are listed.
What if the item is not what I was expecting?
Item is significantly not as described (SNAD)
We consider items to be SNAD if they are significantly different from the listing description or photos. If the order arrived but it is significantly not as described, you must report the issue to us by following the steps above. The seller can:
  • Release a refund to you without requesting any reported items to be returned, or
  • Ask you to return any reported items to get a refund.
If you’re asked for a return, you’ll need to send any reported items back within 5 business days. Otherwise, the payment will be released to the seller if the order isn’t returned.
